Preview and Opening Receptions for SOLACE and SHADOWS Exhibitions

Scientist Ken Adler visited the Pulmonary lab of Dr. Zea Borok to share his data on the MARKS protein and learn about the science at the USC lab.  Accompanying him on the visit was artist Pamela Schleifer Strauss, who worked with the IGM AG team and fellow North Carolinian artist, Beth Palmer to develop the art-framed discussion for an audience of public, private, nonprofit, faith-based, academic and media leaders to learn more about the scientific process, and prevention and healing of disease.  The collaborative discussions resulted in a certificate of commendation presentation to the visiting artists and scientist and exciting cross disciplinary discussions.
